Vinification
As befits every wine produced from this famous grape, the Merlot Sintria is distinguished by its persuasive softness, which does not, however, prevent the expression of a robust structure.
To the palate it is full, warm, pleasantly consistent with the olfactory profile, while the distinct freshness is perfectly balanced by the roundness of the tannins and the softness given by the aging in wood, which makes it an excellent combination both for grilled meats and vegetable stews, as well as full-flavoured fish dishes, starters based on mushrooms and cheeses and Italian-style appetisers.
